Registration fee is now $60. The City of El Paso has decided to raise the fees and player fees for all privately owned leagues. Player fees that where once $3 are now $7, plus league fees, field fees, administrative fees that the city charges us and a yearly park usage fee. On top of that it is also now the responsibility of Priviate Leagues to make sure we supply City Parks with Porta Potties, which is truly ridiculous! Do to the increase on the Cities part we are forced to raise our fees. If you wish to help us fight these fee increases, City Council will be having a meeting on 7/20/09 to review these fee increases. Our voices should be heard! These fee increases are unfair and during these hard times parents that are struggling to keep their families together and in activities should not be burdened with additional cost! Help us fight this!

ON THE DAY OF REGISTRATION THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THE SPRING SEASON.

Registration fee: $60.00 cash or money order, this fee is non-refundable once the season has begun. There is a $25 insufficent funds fee for all returned checks.

Parents must also take parenting class offered by the Parks and Recreation Department. Parents must also get player card if they do not already have one for each child they will have playing in our league.

The following age groups are available.

6 & Under (pending teams), 8 & Under, 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, 16 & under, Parent Teams open class.

Parents assume all risk of injury to their child/children and acknowledge that Just For Kids Sports League does not provide medical insurance for any child. If your child were to sustain injuries it is solely the parents responsibility as a parent to provide medical attention and pay for any medical cost incurred. The Parent will not hold Just For Kids Sports League liable for the responsibility of any injuries to their child. There are not refunds once the season has started. Cut off date for the Spring Fling 2008 season is Feb. 1st, your child cannot be older than the age of the age group they are registering before this date. All Parents must also attend parent meeting that the coach of your assigned team will notify you of.

Just For Kids Sports League is a privately owned league and is not a City League. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

All fees paid for each season guarantee each child to play at least 8 games during the season (weather permitting).

Teams may require further fees for jerseys, mouthpieces, player id cards and so forth. These are additional cost not covered by the registration fee.

Practice times and locations will be arranged by each team at the parent team meeting(s). Practices are usually 1 to 2 times a week in the late afternoons or early evenings, but vary from team to team. No Practice request times will be honored. Just For Kids Sports League will not provide any indoor or outdoor practice facilities for any sport. It is up to the team to find facilities suitable for each teams’ needs. It is also up to each player joining the Just For Kids Sports League to make arrangements to attend team practices. If you wish to have your child join a specific team, your request must be in the same age group and written clearly on the registration form, head coach of the specified team will then be contacted and he/she will decide if your child will be able to join his/her team. Each team in the Just For Kids Sports League is its own entity and makes judgments for their own teams; Just For Kids Sports League does not take responsibility for any actions taken by individual teams.
