GAMES TO WATCH THIS WEEK!

I can't remember the last time there was so many competitive teams in each age group! This week every game will be an important and competitive game and here is our break down. Remember that this commentary is for fun and all games must be kept fun for the kids. Any coach, parent or spectator acting in an unsportsmanlike manner will be ejected from the game or league!

Week 6 Commentary

10:30am

Spartans vs. Texans
The Spartans are coming off of a well played game against the Cowboys. This game was highly competitive and they look at taking the momentum from that game into this game vs. the Texans for the Spartans first win of the season.... The Texans where red hot the first 2 weeks of the season and have played hard the last 3 weeks but fallen a little short. They look at getting back on track and playing the Texan way against the Spartans to even out their season! Who will win... The Mighty Spartans from Sparta (The Eastside) or the High Powered Texans from Texas (also the Eastside).......

Cowboys vs. Mini Me's Blue
The Cowboys will be coming into this game red hot and off their first win of the season. The Mini Miner Mini Me's Blue will also becoming into this game with momentum after taking down their fellow Mini Miner Orange team this past weekend. Can the cowboys shut down the mini shaft and trap the Mini Miners to take home the win? Or will the Mini Miners be pumping out the golden plays that will take home the victory? Stay tuned....

The Steelers vs. The Sand Devils
These 2 teams are the suprise of the age group this season! The Steelers spun off an existing team and came into this season as familiar faces with a new team name. They immediately have proven they are a team to beat this season and took down one of the leagues long time heavy weights this past weekend when they defeated the Mini Miners. The Sand Devils where a week late into the season, but came in, in a Devilish way and have kept their momentum building. This game will decide who is the top team in this age group. Can the Steelers bring their IRON CURTAIN Defense and shut down the Sand Devils? With the Sand Devils bring their Shut Down defense and make the Steeler offense look like their running in SAND! This is the game of the week and if your at the park, I would stay and watch this one!!!

Buccaneers vs. Desperados
Both of these teams are long time fixtures in the league. They met on opening week and now meet again! The Buccaneers have been swoshbuckling all season long and now have their ship on course and their cannons ready to fire! The Desperados have been raiding the football fields these past weeks and racking up points every game. This week they have their eyes set on their goal and their pistols ready to shot it out! Who will take victory by the hands and sail/ride into the sunset Saturday afternoon? This will be a good one folks. Stay tuned for more information!

Scorpions vs. Mini Me's Orange
The Scorpions are coming off a big win this weekend and hope to leap frog the Mini Me's Orange team this weekend with a win into 2nd place. The Mini Me's Orange are coming off of a tough game against their fellow Mini Miner team and hope to get their pix's back to hitting gold and a victory this weekend. This will determine which team is in 2nd place and which team will stay in 3rd place. Will both teams be ready? Will the Fans be ready? Will the park be ready? This is another game to watch folks. These little ones are coming to play!

Cowboys vs. Mini Miners
The Cowboys pulled a big upset to open up the season when they met the Mini Miners and took home the win. The Mini Miners rebounded from the Early Cowboy Upset, but stumbled last week against a good Steeler team. Can the Cowboys get back on track and take the sweep of the series against the Mini Miners this season? Or will the Mini Miners get back into game form and out shoot the Cowboys to take home this win. This will be an exciting games. Both teams have Big Play Makers and Both Teams put on a great Entrance!
