Week 1 Game of the week.
Blue Devils vs. Wolverines
This game started off very defensively. Niether team could score until the second quarter. The Blue Devils struck first with a TD and again in the 3rd qrt. with another TD. But the Wolverines countered with a TD of their own and a XPT. They battled it out throughtout the 4th qrt. with the Wolverines scoring an additional TD. But in the end the Blue Devils scored and where able to take their opening game of the season home with a win. Both teams played very hard and should be very proud of themselves. Way to go players and coaches!
E.P. Cowboys vs. Wolverines White
The El Paso Cowboys were coming off a high with a opening season win earlier in the day and looked to try and extend that to a 2 game winning streak to open up their season. The Wolverines came into this game and were also hoping to get their season started right on track. The E.P. Cowboys jumped out to an early lead striking first. But the Wolverines had a courageous last quarter effort and took a bite out of the Cowboys with a 13 vs. 14 Win. Both teams played very hard and should be very proud of themselves. Way to go players and coaches!
